serve communities across the Southeast in times when natural disasters stretch local capabilities to the limit.
Our mission is clear: to provide life-saving assets, skilled manpower, and boots-on-the-ground support when and where it’s needed most.

Every mission we launch is driven by the people who believe in us, from the Charleston locals who train with us to the donors who help fund our equipment, fuel, and operations.

From flying into hurricane-ravaged towns to wading through floodwaters in the Lowcountry, the Carolina Emergency Response Team has been on the front lines of disaster. During Hurricane Helene, we coordinated with over 50 civilian helicopters to conduct the largest non-government air rescue in U.S. history—saving more than 400 lives and delivering over 800,000 pounds of aid.
We’ve responded to flash floods in Charleston, supported countless search and rescue efforts across South Carolina, and stood shoulder to shoulder with first responders when available resources were nearly exhausted. Wherever help is needed, we show up.
